Introduction

The opportunity

The Department of Energy, Environment and Climate Action (DEECA) is responsible for maintaining the road network in the forest estate. DEECA utilises a road classification system to describe standards and maintenance regimes.

The DEECA Strategic Fire Road Network (SFRN) is used to control and prevent bushfire, by utilising these roads as major fire breaks or burn boundaries in emergency situations and when conducting fuel reduction burns. The roads must be maintained to a safe and acceptable standard to enable passage for staff and members of the public to travel without increased risk to their safety.

The Department is seeking responses to this Request for Tender (RFT) T2025-0564 for the provision of minor works – Yarram – HSRN – Maintenance Grading.
