Project goals

The Contractor is required to provide routine monitoring, management and reporting services for the Wilson Park Bioremediation Site and Blaxland Sustainable Leachate Treatment Wetlands. Additional services for monitoring management and reporting services for the Former Golf Driving Range (FGDR) wetlands are proposed to be undertaken as required.

Scope

The services comprise primarily of routine monitoring of the biological leachate treatment systems including visual inspections, water sampling and monitoring the operation on SOPA’s SCADA program (System Control and Data Acquisition), some minor maintenance tasks and reporting on the bioremediation systems to ensure the treatment ponds and wetlands continue to efficiently and effectively remove contaminants and allow treated leachate to be discharged to the environment in compliance with the requirement so of Environment Protection License EPL10243 held by SOPA. The scope of works is based on current regulatory requirements. Variation may occur as a result of changes to these regulatory requirements.
