Operations and Maintenance Roading Alliances

This Request for Proposal (RFP) is issued by Southland District Council (Council/SDC), referred to below as “the Buyer” or “we” or “us”. Council is going to market with its Alliance Contracts for the operations and management (O&M) of its roading network. The contracts will cover routine maintenance, asset management support, renewal programming, and urban services across Southland’s roading network.

This RFP covers three separate contracts for which a single Supplier will be awarded no more than two contracts:

• Waimea Alliance Region Roading Network
• Foveaux Alliance Region Roading Network
• Central Alliance Region Roading Network

The Contract will be a collaborative alliance arrangement that promotes transparency, shared goals, and joint problem-solving.

This is an opportunity for an experienced contractor to support SDC in delivering a safe, responsive, and sustainable transport network.
