Tender Description
The Central Coast Council is seeking a qualified and experienced contractor for Testing and Tagging Services under a Triennial Services Contract. This contract will be for three (3) years, with the option for one (1) year extension at the Council's discretion.
The Testing and Tagging Services Contract covers the provision of routine inspection, testing, tagging, and reporting of portable electrical equipment across Council owned buildings and facilities. Services include the systematic checking of electrical appliances, extension leads, and equipment to ensure safety, compliance, and reduction of risk to users.
The Contractor is required to carry out all works in accordance with relevant Australian Standards, Work Health and Safety legislation, and Council requirements, including AS/NZS 3760 In-service safety inspection and testing of electrical equipment. Minor capital works, such as bulk replacement of non-compliant equipment, may be delivered under this Contract on a lump sum basis following the submission and acceptance of a Contractor quotation.
