CESPHN General Practice Business and Succession Planning Support Project

The Central and Eastern Sydney Primary Health Network (CESPHN) invites suitably qualified and experienced providers to submit proposals to deliver tailored support to smaller and solo general practices (1 to 5 GPs) in developing business and financial plans with a focus on succession planning.

This initiative aims to strengthen the long-term sustainability of general practices by enhancing their capacity for effective business planning, financial management, and leadership transition. Through targeted, one-on-one support, participating practices will be equipped to plan for continuity, stability, and strategic leadership amid changing workforce and healthcare demands.

Approximately 20 general practices across the CESPHN region will be supported through this program, which will run from January to June 2026.

CESPHN seeks providers with demonstrated experience in general practice business and financial planning, succession planning, and leadership development, as well as strong facilitation and stakeholder engagement skills. Providers should be familiar with RACGP standards and accreditation processes and capable of delivering services both in-person and remotely.
