Tender Description

Overview

The Regional Museums Quick Response Grant aims to support regional museums, galleries and cultural centres to develop, conserve, preserve or exhibit the unique cultural heritage of the Northern Territory.

The Quick Response Grant aims to support initiatives that require less funding, but are no less important, than major projects that require significant budgets. The aim of the grant is to fill a funding gap within Regional Museums by supporting projects that may not be included in annual grant applications.

Eligible activities may include installing interpretive displays, professional development and/or training for staff and/or volunteers or purchasing conservation materials.

Projects must be completed within 90 days of the grant funds being disbursed.

Applications are open throughout the financial year, or until all the funding has been allocated.

Funding is provided by the Northern Territory Government and administered by the Museum and Art Gallery of the Northern Territory.

Please note: applying or being awarded a Quick Response Grant will not affect your application for the major Regional Museums Grant funding round.
