Tender Description

⁠⁠⁠Bathurst Regional Council is seeking tenders from suitably qualified and experienced contractors for the Construction of the Bathurst Stormwater Harvesting Scheme remaining pipeline and associated works. Works include Completion Construction of the Stormwater rising main, Completion and Construction of the elevated pipeline, Construction of under bores within the selected roadway alignments, Construction of pipeline connected to both Macquarie River crossings 1 and 2, Connection to existing under bores, Performance testing of constructed works. All works under this Construction Contract is to be carried out on the basis of a Lump sum tender.

The Contractor shall supply all labour, materials as required, supervision, management and documentation systems, transport and installation at site, fittings & fasteners, plant,equipment,tools, testing and commissioning necessary to complete the works, and pay all statutory fees and charges required. The Principal has procured the majority of required pipes and fittings for the project, please see attached list of Principal Supplied Materials

Note: the Contractor will be responsible to insure the materials once in their possession.

The handover deliverable will be a fully tested, commissioned, performance compliant and operational stormwater harvesting scheme with Work as Executed documentation.

Bathurst Regional Council has engaged a contractor to undertake the installation of a communications conduit along the same alignment of the pipeline route. The Contractor will need to coordinate with Bathurst Regional Council and their engaged communications contractor for the completion of the communications conduit works providing access to certain works fronts.

Bathurst Regional Council has engaged an under boring company to perform the underbore works at Queen Charlottes Vale creek crossing and the Bryant Street rail Underbore. The Contractor will need to complete connections to the under bores as nominated within the provided design drawings.
