CIS Tender 7 – NEM generation

Tender 7 aims to deliver 5 GW of renewable generation across the National Electricity Market (NEM).

The tender is currently open for registrations and bids. To bid in Tender 7, you must register on the ASL website: Visit the Tender 7 webpage

Registrations close on 25 November 2025. Bids close on 9 December 2025.

Tender 7 is a single stage bidding process that combines previous tender Stage A (project bid) and Stage B (financial bid). Proponents must submit all aspects of their bid at the same time.

The Australian Government released a Market Brief that provides indicative information on CIS Tender 7. The Market Brief covers:
