Gandangara Local Aboriginal Land Council (GLALC) invites proposals from suitably qualified and experienced Quantity Surveyors to provide cost management services for the Veterans and Youth Centre (VYC) Project at the Linnwood Estate, 11–35 Byron Road, Guildford NSW.

The project involves the refurbishment of the existing McCredie Cottage and construction of an extension to create new facilities, including a reception area, exercise room, mess hall and dining area, meeting rooms, counselling rooms, and program spaces. The works are funded by the Western Sydney Infrastructure Grant Program (WSIGP).

Bridge42 has been appointed as the Project Manager for the delivery of this project on behalf of GLALC.

The appointed Quantity Surveyor will be required to provide comprehensive cost management services from Design Development through to Construction and Project Close-Out, including but not limited to:

• Preparation of cost plans at key project stages (Concept Design, Pre-DA, Detailed Design, and Pre-Tender).
• Ongoing cost monitoring and reporting to maintain alignment with the approved construction budget.
• Attendance at design and project meetings as required.
• Provision of tender documentation support, including Bills of Quantities and tender assessment.
• Review and certification of contractor claims and variations during construction.
• Value management input to optimize cost efficiency and project outcomes.

The estimated construction value of the project is approximately $12 million.

Consultants should demonstrate experience delivering similar community, cultural, or health-related projects and an understanding of working with Aboriginal organizations and communities.

Tender submissions are to include a detailed fee proposal broken down by project stages, proposed hourly rates, relevant experience, and key personnel details.
