Darwin – Provision of Insurance Brokerage Services for a Period of 36 Months

Power Retail Corporation (trading as Jacana Energy) is a Northern Territory government owned electricity retailer, established in 2014 pursuant to the Power Retail Corporation Act 2014 (NT). We are the Northern Territory’s largest electricity retailer providing electricity retail services to residential and small and large business customers throughout urban, rural, and remote areas. As an electricity retailer, we operate in a highly regulated industry, overseen by the independent industry regulator, the Utilities Commission of the Northern Territory.

The purpose of this tender is to select a suitably qualified insurance broker who has the experience and knowledge to manage Jacana Energy’s insurance program for the period detailed in Annexure to the Conditions of Contract. These services will encompass placing all the corporation’s insurance programs, day-to-day management of the account, and claims management, and general advice on insurance matters.
