Construction of Benaraby Landfill Cell 3b

Gladstone Regional Council (GRC) requires a suitably qualified contractor for the construction of Benaraby Landfill Cell 3b so it is waste ready by June 2027. This will enable both Cell 3a & Cell 3b to be filled simultaneously for a period to create a soft layer of waste on the geofabric lining of the new cell.

The Scope of Work encompasses the construction of landfill Cell 3b at the Benaraby Landfill in accordance with the Technical Specification and drawings provided with the Scope of Work. All works will be undertaken within the boundaries of the Benaraby Landfill and shall include but not limited to, the following:

•  Supply and compliance testing materials.
•  Site establishment.
•  Clearing and grubbing.
•  Location and protection of existing services.
•  Civil construction works.
•  Site demobilisation.
