Support the client (GLALC) with project definition scope for the proposed Veterans and Youth Centre (VYC)

The client is seeking proposals from experienced consultants to support the further definition of project requirements for the VYC Health Service. This is an open tender process, and we invite your submission for consideration. The attached is the design brief developed for the project. The client needs support from a consultant who has experience working on similar projects to provide them with advice on finalising the design brief and preparing the process documents. 

The VYC Health Service Strategy will define:

- Objectives for the service

- What services will and won’t be delivered, and for which cohorts

- The intended operational model

- Referral patterns and pathways into and out of the service

- Anticipated activity volume to be delivered in the center (e.g., number or frequency of sessions)

The scope to include: 

– at least three meetings with GLALC to define the intent for this health service and understand expectations, review literature findings and agree inclusions / requirement for the VYC, review the draft service strategy and obtain feedback

– literature review and research of similar services with particular focus on first nations services

– interviews with representatives from several interest groups (if required to fill gaps in information) – up to 4 hours

– desktop market scan of similar or related services in the catchment area to support understanding of scale of service.
