Project goals

The scope of this RFQ is the provision of Volunteer Management and/or Casual Staffing Services to provide overall high-level detailed advice and consultation on Destination NSW-managed Australia Day 2026 events in Sydney. The primary focus is on the recruitment, management, and delivery of volunteer services and/or the supply and coordination of paid casual staff to support guest services and event operations.

Scope

1/ An itemised all-inclusive quotation for Australia Day in Sydney 2026 showing line-item detail for the following for PART A only, PART B only or both PART A and PART B:

PART A – An itemised all-inclusive quotation for Australia Day in Sydney 2026 plus a quote for option year 1 – 2027 showing line-item detail for Volunteer Management of approximately 160 volunteers.

PART B – Casual paid staff roles (event crew):

i. Ferrython Guest Relations Managers (approx 4)

ii. Ferrython Assistant Guest Relations Managers (approx 4)

iii. Australia Day Live Talent Runners (approx 6)

iv. General Event Runners (approx 6)

v. Please indicate the mark-up fee for employing casuals including oncosts such as superannuation and payroll tax

vi. Please detail the strength of your recruitment pool for these types of roles. We may specify previously identified candidates, however, we may need assistance from your company as well

vii. Please outline your insurance policies/work cover for paid workers

viii. Suppliers are welcome to provide a rate card for these and other relevant services

2/ A written response demonstrating overall company experience, suitability and capacity and nominating proposed personnel and individual experience and capacity.
