Lower Waikato Stop Banks Stage 2a – Package 1 Tuakau East (CH0-870) & Tuakau West

Waikato Regional Council (Council) invites tenders for the Lower Waikato Stop Bank Upgrades (Stage 2a) Project.

This Tender is for upgrading two existing Stop Banks, Tuakau East (Ch 0-870) & Tuakau West, located in the lower Waikato River area on private land.

Council is seeking credible contractors with the capacity, capability, experience, and resources to deliver this project on time and within budget. Contractors must demonstrate a strong track record in health and safety management, as well as environmental performance.

A compulsory site inspection will be held on 17 October 2025. Attendance is mandatory to ensure all tenderers have viewed the site, understood the associated hazards and challenges, and had the opportunity to raise questions with Council’s Operations staff and Project Manager.
