The Adelaide Waste and Recycling Centre (AWRC) at 181 Morphett Road, North Plympton, developed in the 1990s as an integrated resource recovery centre, provides a valuable service to greater Adelaide as a centralised urban waste transfer station but needs significant investment and modernisation to ensure it can provide necessary waste, resource recovery and circular economy functions for greater Adelaide into the future.

The site is nearing end of lease, so it is timely that a commercial assessment is undertaken to inform lease negotiations and any other relevant commercial considerations for the site.
