We wish to engage a construction supplier to carry out works at Te Awamutu fire station.

The scope of works will entail the below, all documents and plans will be made available to those shortlisted through to the RFP stage:

• Structural Improvements which consist of adding structural steel in certain areas

• Re-pitching the roof and internal gutters to sections of the station

• Replacement of external weatherboards

• Replacement of external joinery

• Upgrading the electrical distribution boards

• Upgrading fire and smoke separations and egress routes

• Installation of an approved fire alarm system

• Reconfiguration of ablutions to support gender diversity

• Installation of mechanical ventilation system
