Tender Description
We invite suitably qualified and experienced organisations to submit proposals for the design and construction of a new 120-place preschool and long day care facility in Darlington Point, NSW.
Selection will be based on demonstrated qualifications and experience (Qualifications Based Selection – QBS), rather than the lowest price.
Phase One – Submissions
Interested organisations are asked to:
- Demonstrate your experience in designing and constructing preschool/long day care facilities.
- Provide examples of completed projects, along with client references.
- Outline management structure and project delivery approach.
- Demonstrate knowledge of relevant legislation and regulations.
Phase Two – Shortlist
Up to 3 organisations will be shortlisted. Each will receive $20,000 to prepare detailed design proposals. We will then select one organisation to deliver the turnkey facility.
Key Dates – Phase One
- Submission deadline: 4 November 2025
- Review proposals and recommend shortlisted firms: 7 November 2025
- Decision endorsed by Council: 18 November 2025
