WA Health is a member of the Early Years Partnership (EYP), which is a 10-year partnership between WA State Government entities (Health, Education, and Communities), and the Minderoo Foundation. The EYP aims to improve the health, well-being, and school readiness of children aged 0-4 years in four communities across WA. According to the Australian Early Development Census, 1 in 5 WA children are considered developmentally vulnerable. 

The Central Great Southern community and stakeholders of the Early Years Partnership Project have identified the need for a vehicle to improve access to the Dental Health Project and the Food Security Initiative, for families of children aged 0-4 years. The vehicle will be used for outreach services by the partners of the Dental Health project, and Food Security Initiative project, and the transport of associated resources in the Central Great Southern region.

This tender seeks interest from not-for-profit community groups in Central Great Southern to purchase and manage a vehicle for use by EYP members through a grant agreement. The grant will allow EYP members to connect community members to dental health promotion and preventative services and food security initiatives in communities of need. The Grant recipient will be asked to customise the outreach vehicle with EYP branding and graphics to provide consistent messaging and promotion of the project. The community outreach vehicle will remain with the Grant recipient as a legacy of the EYP.
