Merredin to Baandee Pipeline Replacement

Water Corporation is inviting organisations with suitable experience, capability and capacity to submit a bid to construct, commission, performance test and validate the assets required to replace DN750 mild steel concrete-lined (MSCL) sections of the Goldfield Agricultural Water Supply Scheme (GAWSS), in Western Australia. Three sections of pipeline are to be replaced with below ground and above ground Sintakote DN900 & DN1000 welded pipe SSJ-WR, plus associated fittings, valves and pipe supports.

The appointed Head Contractor is expected to:

•  Engage the Water Corporation's relevant Welding Panel Members to complete the welding component; and
• Employ suitably qualified personnel to manage welding and pipe installations on multiple fronts in accordance with Sintakote Steel Pipeline system (Australia Standard AS4041) and Water Corporation Specifications.

A compulsory site visit will take place at 11am AWST on Tuesday 21 October 2025. A 4WD is required for this inspection due to unsealed access tracks.
