Audit and Risk Committee – Independent Member – Remunerated Position

Expressions of Interest are sought from suitably qualified persons who are motivated to become an independent member of the Wudinna District Council Audit and Risk Committee.

The Audit and Risk Committee is primary role is to support Council in fulfilling its responsibilities related to financial reporting, risk management, internal controls and governance practices.

The independent applicant with skills and experience in business or financial management will be preferred. While not essential, experience is local government, particularly in the areas of finance, risk, and governance, will be highly regarded. A sitting fee is payable for meeting attendance.

A copy of the Audit and Risk Committee Terms of Reference, which sets out the committee’s roles and responsibilities, is available from the Council’s website or on request from the Council office.
