Tender Description

The District Council of Yankalilla (the Council) invites tenders from Tenderers for the provision of 534m of road reconstruction and major stormwater upgrade of Finniss Vale Drive Second Valley. The scope of works include but not limited to:

  • Reestablishment of swale with an upgrade of rock and gravel lined swales expanding to 2.4m width with geotextile liner for erosion protection
  • RCP and box culverts across intersections and crossover driveways
  • Rock headwall structures
  • Profile full road width and supply and lay spray seal component (see design documentations for more information)
  • Subject to budget availability, Council may consider the provisional option of cement stabilising the PM1/20QG overlay basecourse at a rate of 2–3%, to a maximum depth of 150mm
  • Cement stablisation of 100mm TYPE 1 Agg with 6-8% cement stabilisation only across driveway cross overs and intersections
