Council is seeking to engage a contractor to supply Stage Curtains for 2 of our stage entertainment facilities:

• Theodore RSL Hall

• Moura Kianga Hall

Theodore RSL Hall

To manufacture, supply and install front of house and backdrop curtains.

Specifications are to be as follows:

• Black

• Wool

• Approx. 420 GSM 80% fullness

• With eyelets and ties

• Fire retardant

Front of house (left hand side, and right hand side) 4500mm width x 4000mm height.

Backdrop (left hand side, and right hand side) 5500mm width x 4000mm height, with velcro in the centre at cross over point.

Moura Kianga Hall (Cnr McArthur & Young Street, Moura 4718)

To remove existing curtains and railing systems, to manufacture, supply and install new railing system, front of house curtains and backdrop curtains.

Curtain specifications are to be as follows:

• Black

• Wool

• Approx. 420 GSM 80% fullness

• With eyelets and ties

• Fire retardant

The replacement system is to be manual, in the same layout as existing curtains.

1x backdrop piece – 10.5 x 4 metres

2x angled side pieces – 2.5 x 4metres

4x angled side pieces – 1.8 x 4 metres

2x roof curtains – 1.1m x 10.5m

Front of house piece – 10.5m x 3.2metres

Please ensure price includes travel, accommodation etc.

Council would be willing to evaluate an alternative option should you recommend a different product/solution.

Council welcomes you for a site visit to measure and assess the current set up and railings.

All constructions must comply with Australian Fire Standards.

The contractor will be expected to tidy the work site upon completion of each stage and remove all waste. All damaged caused on site will be the rectified at the cost of the contractor.
