Noora Basin Pipeline Maintenance

The Noora pipeline has been consistently maintained for the past four years and requires an ongoing contractor to continue its Preventative Maintenance program. This will ensure the system remains fit for purpose, meets acceptable standards, and minimises the risk of failure, which could result in catastrophic consequences. Additionally, the pipeline needs a contractor on call to address potential pipe bursts or asset failures as they arise. Consequently, the Department for Environment and Water is seeking to engage a supplier in the Civil and Mechanical Engineering industry to provide ongoing preventative maintenance to the Noora pipeline and associated assets. 

Key objectives of this services contract includes the following:

• Ongoing scheduled preventative maintenance to assets on the Noora pipeline (services);
• Reporting on asset condition of the Noora pipeline assets (services); and
• Provide a call-out service (services).

Please note than an optional site briefing will be held at 11.00am on Wednesday, 15 October 2025 at Lyrup National Park, Lyrup, South Australia, 5343. The location of the optional site briefing will be near Disher Creek Boat Ramp, in proximity to the Disher Creek Pump Station, 4 km off Sturt Highway.
