Rosalie Primary School - Outdoor Upgrade – Shade Structure

Programmed Facility Management Pty Ltd (PFM) on behalf of Department of Housing and Works (DHW) and Department of Education are seeking tenders from suitably qualified and experienced contractors to undertake outdoor upgrades works at Rosalie Primary School.  

The Work includes but is not limited to design, fabrication, delivery and installation of shade structure over 1 x basketball court.

The contractors must address the following two key issues within their methodology. Please note that the proposed solutions will play a critical role in determining the success of their tender submission.

1. Support Footings Location

Support footings must be installed a minimum of 1.5 meters away from the court. On the east side of the court (As per BCA Map) there is a dropped drainage (fountain/garden zone). Contractors are required to provide a solution for the placement of these footings that meets the 1.5m requirement while ensuring no damage to surrounding trees and Area.

2. Proximity to N Block (ACM Area)

The N Block classroom, which contains ACM, is within 1 to 1.3 meters from the east side of the court. Contractors must provide a solution for installing the remaining support footings without impacting the classroom block, while still complying with the minimum 1.5m spacing requirement for the footings.

Tenderers shall make themselves familiar with the existing site conditions, the specifications, drawings and all Contract documentation.  All measurements and details shown on drawings or other documents (if any) are to be confirmed by Tenderers prior to submission of their Tender. 

All materials and installation shall be supplied and be in accordance with Australian Standards and all codes and regulations relevant to the Scope of Work contained herein.

Site Visit 

A site visit will be held at Rosalie Primary School, 101 Onslow Road, Shenton Park on 14 Oct, 2025 9:30 AM.

Attendance at the briefing is a pre-requisite to submission and consideration of a bid.
