Harmony Week Grants (2025 - 26)

This grant aims to provide support for Harmony Week celebrations to promote the sharing and celebrating of the Northern Territory’s rich cultural diversity. Harmony Week is a national celebration to recognise diversity and inclusion activities that takes place during the week (Monday to Sunday) that includes 21 March, which is the United Nations International Day for the Elimination of Racial Discrimination. The continuing Harmony Day message that ‘Everyone Belongs’ is promoted each year through participation in community events and projects that demonstrate inclusion, a sense of belonging and respect for everyone.

Applications open on 1 October and close on 31 October. (NOTE: If you wish to apply for funding to participate in the Darwin Waterfront Harmony Soiree, you will need to apply through the new Harmony Festivals Grant which will open on the 2nd Monday of January.) The guidelines provide information to assist you in applying for and acquitting grants under this program.
