Tender Description

The objective of the project is to improve road safety at river and creek crossings during flood events by having in place fixed road closure barriers. Also, the existence of permanent flood gates will reduce manual handling associated with erection and dismantling temporary road closure barriers.

The scope of works includes all works necessary to design, fabricate and install fixed road closed barriers, bollards and signs at each of the following three sites:

- Site 1: Namoi Street Weir in Coonabarabran

- Site 2: Horsley Street Weir in Coonabarabran

- Site 3: Yarrow Street causeway in Mendooran.

At each site, two double swing gates, bollards and signs are required, that is, one on each road approach to the waterway.
