The Broken Hill Regional Aquatic Centre is an important strategic asset for the Broken Hill City Council. The Aquatic Centre plays a key role in providing important leisure and swimming opportunities for the community and contributes significantly to the liveability of Broken Hill and the retention and attraction of residents. The procurement for the management of BHRAC was last carried out in 2016.
The Broken Hill City Council wishes to appoint a suitably qualified operator to manage the Broken Hill Regional Aquatic Centre for an initial term of 3 years with two further rights of renewal of 3 years (total possible contract term 9 years).
Potential operators will require the relevant experience and track record to deliver the contract in accordance all relevant legislative requirements including but not limited to areas of health and safety, human resource management and water quality management. Potential operators will have an understanding of industry best practice and hold the appropriate qualifications, capability and capacity to deliver services in line with these standards.
