Parks Water Recycling and Treatment, Asset Operation, Maintenance and Renewal

⁠⁠⁠The Council of the City of Sydney ("the City") invites tenders for the carrying out of Parks Water Recycling and Treatment, Asset Operation, Maintenance and Renewal in accordance with this Request for Tender (RFT).

The services (provided by a suitably qualified and experienced service provider) are required for a period of three (3) years commencing 1 February 2026, with an option of extending for a further two (2) years, at the City's discretion. The successful service provider will be responsible for the asset operation and maintenance of nominated water recycling and water infrastructure assets servicing the City's parks, and the scoping, pricing and delivery of asset renewal works as requested by the City. The contract includes a Transition-In period of one month, for sole management commencing 1 March 2026.

The City will run an online Tender briefing using Microsoft Teams on Tuesday 7th October at 1pm.

During this briefing, the City of Sydney will provide an overview of the RFT and speak to certain sections of the RFT. As such, this briefing will not be recorded and questions will not be permitted, please refer to the contact points for queries referenced under the Key Conditions of Tender. Please also note the confidentiality of the briefing and that the use of technology to transcribe or record meetings is not permitted.

The City will run a site briefing at Sydney Park water treatment plant (38 Barwon Park Road, Alexandria NSW 2015) on Tuesday 14th of October 2025 at 10am. Service providers wishing to attend this site briefing are expected to confirm their attendance by no later than Thursday 9th October 2025 by COB with the contact person listed under the Key Conditions of Tender.

Tenderers must submit tenders in the manner required by this RFT.

Please submit pricing in the Pricing Only Tender Box, and non-pricing in the Non Pricing Only Tender Box. Please do not submit pricing and non-pricing together.
