Tender Description
Whangarei District Council are seeking a suitably qualified and experienced Contractor to deliver the following scope of works:
- Prepare and install a precast catch wall to intercept minor slips and debris, with Corten gates each end.
- Reline an existing storm water culvert and install a new 450Ø culvert.
- Reconstruct the existing access pathway fronting the new retaining wall in concrete.
- Prepare and install approximately 150 metres of new and renewed rock revetment work along both sides of the stream, extending from the staff car park area to the Five Senses Garden as depicted on the design documentation.
- Install three rock anchors at top of slope behind the Quail Café to secure the large totara tree at the top of the slope and install an additional row of gabion rock caging on top of the existing at the base of this slope.
