Ngaanyatjarra Health Service (NHS) seeks a qualified and experienced builder to deliver a refurbishment to the Warakurna Clinic under a design and construct contract. The scope includes:
• Using the NHS-appointed Architect, manage the finalisation of the Warakurna Clinic design,
• Engage and manage all other design consultants to complete the design,
• Submit a Development Approval for the Clinic,
• Work with NHS and project consultants to develop a staged approach to delivering the Clinic upgrade, as it must remain operational throughout construction.
• Renovate the existing floorplan of the Clinic, repurposing as much of the structure as possible,
• Relocation of the current emergency vehicle bay, repurposing the existing,
• Construction of a small extension to the building, and;
• Improve the external access and aesthetic of the current Clinic.
Practical completion for the project is Late November 2026.
The project is located at Lot 4, Fifteenth Street, Warakurna Community, WA 0872.
The Warakurna Clinic is operational and must remain open while delivering the project. The successful builder must be willing to work with NHS and their consultants to create a business continuity plan that prioritises the safe delivery of healthcare while also delivering the project within the program.
