Rydalmere Bowling Club Refurbishment

ABOUT THE COUNCIL:

The City of Parramatta Council is located 24 kilometres west of the Sydney CBD and provides a range of goods and services within a local government area (LGA) encompassing some 84 square kilometres and comprises a population of approximately 260,296 people from a range of diverse cultures, lifestyles and experiences.

ABOUT THE EOI:

Council is inviting Expressions of Interest from suitably qualified and experienced Head Contractors who have expertise in Design and Construct refurbishment projects. It is envisaged between three (3) and five (5) construction firms that will be shortlisted to proceed to the second stage for the Invitation to Tender (ITT) for the Rydalmere Bowling Club refurbishment.

A summary of the scope includes:

• Site preparation works
• Any temp fencing & hoardings to protect the work site
• Site establishment including any sheds as deemed necessary and storage
• Site signage as deemed appropriate
• Comply with the conditions of the DA & the exempt development consent (EDC)
• Refurbishment of the existing building including but not limited to:
• Roof repairs
• Upgrade to fire & emergency services
• Upgrade to function spaces; and
• Amenities
• New lift & stairs
• Offices & community space
• Car park works

No site inspection is proposed at this stage but will be facilitated for short listed proponents during Stage 2 Invitation to Tender.

The lowest or any tender may not necessarily be accepted, and any action or contact that may be considered as an attempt to influence a decision of Councillors or Staff shall disqualify the relevant tender. Late, verbal or emailed submissions will not be accepted.
