The Council of the City of Sydney ("Council") invites tenders to establish a panel of suppliers for Australian Carbon Credit Units (ACCU) created using a vegetation management method specified in this Request for Tender.

The panel contract term will be for 3 years (FY26-FY28), with an optional 3 years extension (FY29-FY31).

Purchased annually, these credits will offset the City's annual emissions and must meet the eligible offset unit criteria as defined by the most recent Australian Government Climate Active Carbon Neutral Standard for Organisations for the purchase year. Currently this includes a vintage year later than 2012.

This supply of carbon credits will also contribute to build and strengthen meaningful relationships and enhance the economic prosperity of Aboriginal & Torres Strait Islander peoples and organisations in accordance with the City's Stretch Reconciliation Action Plan.

The City's preference is to contract with an Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander organisation. This is not mandatory - submissions will be evaluated

The City will assess all tender submissions based on value for money considering both qualitative criteria and overall cost.

Tenderers must submit tenders in the manner required by this RFT.
