Tender Description
Banana Shire Council invites tenders from suitably qualified tenderers for appointment as a pre-qualified supplier of Provision of Environmental Services throughout the Shire as described. Prequalified supplier status will be awarded for a period of 1 year with a possible 6-month extension.
The scope of this tender is for the creation of a panel of prequalified contractors for the intermittent hire to undertake the following environmental services. The expected scope of works for each activity is outlined below but will be confirmed on a project-by-project basis.
- Spotter Catcher
- Ecologist – Protected Plants Flora Survey
- Ecologist – Fauna Investigation, High-Risk Species Management Program and EPBC Referral
- Aquatic Ecologist – Waterway Barrier Works Fish Impact Assessment & Development Application
- Medium to High-Risk Erosion and Sediment Control Plans (ESCPs)
- Wildlife Carer / Veterinarian
- Noise and Vibration Impact Assessment
- Hydrological Study – Surplus Material Placement on Land
- Contaminated Land Assessment
- Soil Permit Disposal Requirements
- Water Quality Assessment
- Advice on Weed Management
- Arborist – Tree Assessment, Protection and Management
