Tender Description
This project is a collaborative program of the Wide Bay Burnett Urban Water Alliance (WBBUWA) to deliver efficiencies for individual members through a region wide approach to sewer relining projects. Fraser Coast Regional Council is undertaking this Tender on behalf of the WBBUWA members.
Fraser Coast Regional Council is inviting offers from suitably qualified and experienced Tenderers for CTWW004 – 25/26 – WBBUWA – Sewer Relining Program – 2025/26 and 2026/27.
This invitation to offer is in separable portions. The Principal may only award any portion depending on funding availability. The Principal requires the tenderer to price all portions or part portions and also provide a discount if awarded all portions in one process. The Principal may award part or whole of the contract to a single Tenderer or to a panel of Tenderers.
The Principal on behalf of the WBBUWA will accept tenders from Prospective Tenderers for the following Trenchless Technology methods (Conforming Tender):
- Term - Cured-in-Place Lining (CIPP)
- Definition - A trenchless rehabilitation method where a resin-saturated liner is inserted into a pipe, then cured in place to form a new pipe within the old one
- Term - Folded & Formed Lining
- Definition - A method where a thermoplastic pipe is factory-folded (typically into a C or U shape), inserted into the host pipe, and then heated and reformed to its original round shape
- No Alternative Proposals will be accepted.
