Tender Description

This Contract is for the Installation of eight client-supplied Humes 6.0m x 2.0m x 1.5m box culverts, in the Southbrook Stream on Townsend Road in Rangiora. Each box section weighs 19.3 Tonnes

The main tasks involved in this Contract are:

  •  Installing a stream bypass,
  •  Dewatering
  •  Protecting services including the critical water main supply main to Rangiora,
  •  Installing a gravel foundation
  •  Cartage, unloading and installation of culvert units
  •  Installing anchor block retaining walls,
  •  Backfilling,
  •  Road surfacing,
  •  Guardrails,
  •  Signage and road marking

Note: the box culverts and cut-off walls are supplied by the Principal and will be loaded by Humes onto the successful tenderers transport.
