Havelock North Streams – Stage 3 Bridge(s) Upgrade

Tenders are requested for the above contract which involves the upgrade of two bridges to convey the 1% AEP flood event, and meet the requirements set out in the Basis of Design.

The key items of work are:

• Deconstruct existing private bridge serving as the only vehicular access to private dwellings.

• Design and build a new bridge to replace the deconstructed bridge. The new bridge design must meet the Principal Requirements provided in this RFT. Allowance for utilities, including WW pump station and rising main. Some bank protection works may be required.

• Design and build a new or replace a pedestrian foot bridge to uplift the current bridge, requirements are outlined in the Principal Requirements. Some bank protection works may be required.

Respondents who are unable to meet all pre-conditions should conclude that they will not benefit from submitting Response.
