Citywide Trenchless Technology Rehabilitation Works 2025-26

The works involve the rehabilitation of ageing and damaged stormwater pipelines at nominated sites across the Newcastle Local Government Area. The proposed rehabilitation of each pipe shall be undertaken through the use of trenchless technology to avoid open trenching. The works will involve the insertion of a liner into the existing host pipeline and cured in place to form a structural composite with the existing pipe material

Persons willing to fulfil the requirements of the proposed contract are invited to submit a tender to the Council by the deadline, 2pm on Tuesday 28 October 2025 (at the Tender Box). Responsibility for lodgement of completed tender documents by the deadline lies solely with the Tenderer. Tender lodgement information is provided in the tender document. Council is not bound to accept the lowest tender or any tender submitted.

All enquiries relating to the Tender must be directed to the nominated Project Officer, Jack Hawthorne, via the online forum .CCTV footage for the nominated sites as described in the specifications, will be available to the prospective tenderer by request to the nominated Project Officer - Jack Hawthorne via email jhawthorne@ncc.nsw.gov.au

A non-mandatory pre-tender meeting will be held on Tuesday, 21 October 2025 at 9:00 am at the northern corner of Centennial Park (near the intersection of Parry and Bruce Streets), Cooks Hill, Newcastle.
