Cashmere Avenue School’s Ten-Year Property Plan has identified various improvements to Block 3’s roof including the replacement of roof coverings, flashings and spouting.
The required contract works includes the removal and replacement of clerestory windows and skylights, making good where required.
A significant amount of carpentry work is required for this project including the removal and replacement of exterior cladding as well as reinstatement in places to allow for the installation of new apron flashings. Some areas of existing barge boards and flashings are to be carefully removed and reinstated following roof replacement works.
Sections of water damaged wall and ceiling linings and timber scotia will be removed and replaced as well as the removal and renewal of ceiling finishes.
