ABOUT THE COUNCIL:

Gilgandra Shire, located in the Central West Slopes and Plains of NSW, covers an area of 4,832 square kilometres and is located 442 kilometres North-West of Sydney. Gilgandra Shire local government area has a current estimated population of 4,236 with the major township in the area being Gilgandra.

ABOUT THE TENDER:

Gilgandra Shire Council plans to construct new aged care staff accommodation at two (2) separate locations in Gilgandra, providing modern, high quality and fit-for-purpose accommodation buildings suitable for aged care staff.

Firstly, the proposed development at 68 Myrtle Street Gilgandra consists of a combination of 4 x 2 Bedroom units, 1 x 1 Bedroom Unit and a Studio apartment along with covered off street parking.

Secondly, the proposed development at 1 Hercules Place, Gilgandra consists of 2 x 3 Bedroom Separate Dwellings (Dual Occupancy).

The Council is not bound to accept the lowest priced Tender or all or any part of a Tender and reserves the right to conduct the Request for Tender process and select the successful respondent(s) as it sees fit.
