The project is to install a new dedicated 1,500kVA 11kV 3 phase padmount substation, in order to provide the required LV supply to the sports precinct. This substation will takes it's supply parallel underground HV cables, terminated onto the existing overhead 11kV 3 phase network, in Forest Rd.

The HV cables shall be open trenched within the sports precinct site, and under bored when crossing under Forest Rd.

The level 2 service to the MSB supplying the stadium and sports precinct shall be connected directly to the substation LV circuit breaker (by others).

As part of the level 1 scope of works, a new LV distributor shall be laid to a LV pillar, located on the northern boundary, in order to provide an increased supply to the maintenance shed and pump shed. As part of the works the appointed level 1 ASP is required to ensure the existing electrical service to the maintenance shed is disconnected, redundant power poles and overhead aerial conductors are removed and that at all times during and after completion of works the 2 sources of electrical supply are never paralleled.

The appointed contractor is required to install a new electrical supply to the existing maintenance shed as shown on the plans provided. The new level 2 ASP electrical service, is to be connected ro the proposed Essential Energy pillar NP489158 located on the boundary between lots 1/DP1142713 (Jack Brabham Ovals) & 209/DP42900 (Sports Precinct Site) which is being installed in ECN-100952.

The service is to then be laid the existing DB on the side of the maintenance shed. The existing DB is to be modified to convert this of a standard phase, 80A retail meter board. A new subcircuit is then to be laid to the existing pump shed located to the east. Use existing conduits where possible.
