Sale and Removal of the Vessel ‘Rebecca’

The Item for sale and removal is the vessel ‘Rebecca’ and all remnants (registration number: 18719)

‘Rebecca’ is currently stored on a hard stand at the Department of Transport and Major Infrastructure (DTMI) Boating Facility at Jervoise Bay Cove, Woodman Point Recreation Reserve, Coogee, Western Australia.

‘Rebecca’ was wrecked at Deepwater Point, Swan River, and pursuant to section 71 of the Western Australian Marine Act 1982 (WAMA), was subsequently removed and transported to Woodman Point by salvage contractors engaged by DTMI.

The Item is being sold pursuant to section 71(3) of the WAMA. DTMI is seeking offers for the purchase and removal of this vessel and all remnants as described below.

Site Visit

A site visit will be held at Jervoise Bay Cove, Woodman Point Recreation Reserve, Coogee .

The vessel is in the carpark (salvage area). It is only accessible to view behind temporary fencing and can be viewed without supervision.
