Alexandrina Council requires the provision of Roadside Slashing Services for bushfire reduction and safety purposes.

Roadside Slashing is required for the reduction of grass vegetation adjacent to arterial DIT Roads and a selection of council roadsides.

Works are to be completed by end of Summer 2026.

Slashing of the road verges must comply with:

• Native vegetation Act and Regulations.
• Identified Roadside Markers
• Ensure reasonable protection of existing infrastructure (i.e. signs, posts, fencing)

There are multiple locations to be serviced, these are detailed within the works specifications and maps are provided.

Council will enter into an Agreement for the Works with the successful Tenderer.
