Tender Description
GCWA’s 5.95m aluminium work boat the QG ‘Tally’ is reaching the end of its useful life and needs to be replaced.
GCWA needs to replace the Tally with a small, trailerable work boat to deliver operational functions in rivers, creeks and canals.
GCWA require design and construction of vessel =6.5m length, =2.5m beam, towable by Toyota Landcruiser (3.5t) including:
- centre console with 3 seats for master and crew
- flat work area at bow (potentailly with drop-down door)
- single outboard engine (capable of moving/pushing/towing under load)
- max speed 30+kts / service speed 20+kts
- foldable bimini canopy for sun protection
- small removable crane/davit at bow
A Queensland registered trailer to tow on public roads must also be provided.
