Tender Description
This Contract is for the back-fill of an existing stock underpass with self-compacting material, such as pea metal or drainage chip, and filling of the approach ramps.
The scope has the following two separable portions:
- Separable Portion A – Underpass Decommissioning and North Approach Ramp
This portion includes the filling of the underpass with self-compacting material, filling of the Northern Approach Ramp, and reinstatement of landscaping area.
- Separable Portion B – South Approach Ramp
This portion includes removing the southern ramp for the underpass, which will be funded by the land developer, as this is required to ensure the ground is suitable for future residential lots. Ground reinstatement on the south side of the underpass to match existing land will be funded by the developer.
The main tasks involved in this Contract are:
- Removal of any services, such as the stormwater pump system.
- Filling and Decommissioning of the existing stock underpass
- Filling and compaction of the approach ramps to the underpass.
- Topsoiling and reinstatement of the approach ramp locations.
