Violet Street Bridge Replacement

⁠⁠⁠Narrabri Shire Council is seeking tenders from suitably qualified Proprietary Limited Companies for Works Under the Contract (WUC) consisting of the following:

- Demolition and removal from site of the existing bridge, associated infrastructure and bridge approaches (as necessary).

- Construction of a replacement steel reinforced concrete bridge on the same horizontal and alignment as the existing bridge in accordance with the Contract Drawings.

- Construction of new flexible pavement bridge approaches including new kerb and gutter as per the extents shown on the Contract Drawings linking the new bridge structure.

- Construction of new reinforced concrete shared paths and handrails linking to existing shared path infrastructure in accordance with the Contract Drawings.

- Construction and commissioning of a new water main on the downstream side of the new bridge, inclusive of associated subsurface connections to the existing water main in accordance with the Contract Drawings.

This is a Quality Assured Contract with method of payment being by Lump Sum. The General Conditions of Contract shall be AS4000-1997, as amended in the Part B Annexure. The Contract is to be completed within forty (40) weeks of the Principal’s acceptance of the tender.
