Project scope forms Stage 1 of the overall drainage and kerb upgrade in Queen Street, Walla Walla, NSW.

Stage 1 involves the construction of piped drainage as well as associated pits, kerb and pavement reconstruction.

The works include the intersection of Queen Street and Commercial Street. Traffic detours around this location will be significantly impact residential streets and contractors should allow for adopt a construction methodology to minimize such disruptions. Similarly, the works area is adjacent several local companies which should be able to conduct their business with the minimum of disruption.

Contractors should note that urban drainage construction of this nature may involve working in proximity to a number of existing utility mains and services. Item A2.2 in the BOQ (Hydro-Vac all services) is intended to be carried out upon award of tender. This will allow confirmation that the contract lines and levels will be suitable and to enable any adjustments if necessary.

A non-compulsory pre-tender meet will be held on site at 2 pm on Friday 26th September 2025.

Tenderers are strongly urged to attend this meeting however site inspections may be made at any time to inspect the site before tendering. Items raised at the site meeting will be issued as an Addendum to the contract.
