Tender Description
The City of Launceston is upgrading the iconic and much-loved children's play space at Punch Bowl Nature Reserve. The renewed and upgraded environment will offer a variety of engaging, recreational, educational, and inclusive experiences for children, families, and our wider community, incorporating play, sensory elements, social interaction, and both active and passive enjoyment activities.
The project includes but is not necessarily limited to - demolition of limited existing bulk excavation, specific paths, paving, fencing, trees and a tree stump. It also calls for the protection of existing trees, vegetation, the creek, swing poles, decking, rocks, seats, the snake, the slide, the ladder, the drinking fountain and certain finishing materials and surfaces.
