Supply of Electronic Monitoring Systems, Hardware, installation and Associated Support

Australian Fisheries Management Authority (AFMA) through the RFT is seeking to type approve EM Systems and establish a Panel Arrangement with EM Providers for fisheries electronic monitoring equipment and associated services under a standards-based model. AFMA has commenced a program of work to significantly expand the current EM program from the current 75 vessels up to 157 vessels and mandate the use of EM in new fisheries. Scope includes EM equipment and associated services, infrastructure, installation services, equipment maintenance, support services, and communications services.

Other Instructions:

The successful tenderer(s) will be required to deliver EM equipment and associated services that meet AFMA’s EM standards, ensuring that specific fisheries monitoring needs are met. AFMA will require the Panel Arrangement to be established as early as possible to allow a significant expansion of e-monitoring Program and have this completed by 30 June 2026.
