Bonnie Beach & Deviot Pontoon Upgrade

The Bonnie Beach & Deviot Pontoon upgrade contract is a design and construct for the replacement/refurbishment of pontoons located at Bonnie Beach, Rowella, and Deviot Pontoon at Deviot. In order to minimise the project costs, any materials on the existing pontoon that are in good condition and will satisfy the design requirement for a 30 year life expectancy can be repurposed and reused, eg floats.

•  The Bonnie Beach Pontoon is 6M x 3.5M with a 24m aluminium gangway.
•  The Deviot Pontoon is 18M X 3.7M with a 24M aluminium gangway.

The scope of works to be carried out under this contract comprises the provision of a certified design, drawings and specifications, material, plant and labour of whatever kind necessary for a complete replacement, or refurbishment of the existing pontoons listed above.

This will be achieved by constructing two pontoons using original parts, where able, in accordance with this Specification and subsequent explanatory details, and to the entire satisfaction of the Superintendent.
