ABOUT COFFS HARBOUR CITY COUNCIL:
Coffs Harbour is positioned halfway between Sydney and Brisbane. Coffs Harbour is a thriving regional coastal city of approximately 77,000 people and enjoys a unique lifestyle created by its geography and climate. Nestled between coastal slopes of the Great Dividing Range and the 80 kilometres of golden beaches that form its boundaries Coffs Harbour has gained a reputation as a dynamic and rapidly expanding economic hub.
ABOUT THIS TENDER:
Council is seeking quotations from appropriately qualified and experienced consultants for the provision of professional services for contract CON00614 Coffs Harbour Open Coast Coastal Management Program (CMP) Stage 2. The City anticipates this contract will be awarded to a single successful consultant who will be required to enter into a legally binding contract a copy of which is in Part 3 of the RFQ document.

RFQ documents may be obtained free of charge after registration on the tendering portal.
ENQUIRIES:
RFQ enquiries and clarifications should be directed to Mr Paul Bennett Senior Coast and Environment Officer via the tendering online forum by the close-off date and time which is 4pm on Friday 26 September 2025.
SUBMISSIONS:
Completed RFQ submissions must be submitted in soft copy via the electronic tender box (which is Council's method for submissions) using the MS Word Returnable Schedules document provided. Respondents will receive a Successful Submission Receipt, timed and dated upon completion. Submissions made in hard copy format, or sent via email, fax or other media will not be considered.
Please be aware that your documents (and those of other tenderers being uploaded immediately prior to the Tender closing date/time) might adversely affect document upload times. Tenderers, therefore, are strongly advised to allow adequate document upload time prior to the Tender closing time.
Council is not bound to accept the lowest priced tender or all or any part of the tender and reserves the right to conduct the tender process and select the successful respondent as it sees most advantageous. Council staff other than the contact listed in the RFQ document are unable to respond to verbal enquiries in relation to the proposal. Canvassing of Councillors or Council staff regarding this RFQ will render a proponent's bid invalid.
